Nebraska’s season ends on Sunday with a home game against Oregon, and the Cornhuskers will face the winner of the Pac 10 title game on Monday, Dec. 10.
It’s unclear how much of a difference a game in the Big 12 would make in Nebraska’s quest for the Pac 15, which will take place on Dec. 17.

Nebraska is currently ranked fifth in the AP poll and currently has four players ranked in the top 10.
The newspaper added that Nebraska’s decision to take a two-game suspension for its quarterback for the final game of the season could also affect its ability to play the Pac 20 Championship on Dec, 10.
That championship is played in San Diego and would be played on the campus of USC, which is a member of the conference.
Neutral sites and the Big EightA game between Notre Dame and Michigan in the Rose Bowl would be the first time in school history that both teams played on neutral soil.
The Rose Bowl is currently hosted at the Rose-hugger Bowl in Pasadena, California.
